Salty 2021
I was the 18th employee to join the Salty team, an Insurtech startup based out of Salt Lake City. I was hired in 2019 and since then the team has grown to 100+ employees and has contracted over 200 partners. In September of 2021 Salty was acquired by CDK Global, a leading automotive retail technology company.
I was hired as the first visual designer on the marketing team and was tasked to expand on the brand, create sales collateral, pitch materials for investors, and shift the brand from B2B first to B2C first.

Customers were not responding to the ominous dark images so the brand had to shift to something more approachable and friendly.
